Personalized Genetic Assessment Service
All of us are unique. Each of us carries in every cell an identical copy of our genome, the blueprint that programs our height, our eye color and even to some extent our personality. The technology of today can deliver a personalized readout of our genetic material, a catalogue of genes and their variations that encode the instructions that make us who we are.
The research scientists at BioMarker have extensive experience with animal models in using large-scale microarray analysis of genetic material, which we routinely apply during various experiments in the search for CR mimetics. The same technology, however, with some minor changes (looking at changes in the DNA itself, rather than the expression levels of the genes encoded by the DNA), can be easily applied to humans. This gives us the opportunity to provide you with access to a sophisticated scientific research tool which is being used throughout the world today to do advanced genetic analysis.
Our approach is based on using human-specific DNA chips that detect SNPs (single-nucleotide polymorphisms). These DNA changes account for the genetic differences between individuals, and can be identified, recorded and analyzed in order to provide you with a personalized DNA report. You can now learn more about yourself, your genetic make-up, and which genes may have good or bad health effects. Our research scientists continue to expand the bioinformatics database underlying the personalized DNA testing service.
